Prevention seminar for Secondary schools

This seminar is open for both state and non-state Secondary schools. Following last year’s seminar, in which the ESPAD survey was discussed, this year Dr. Cefai will go through the findings of the survey Healthy Students Healthy Lives. Dr. Cefai is a director of the European Centre for Educational Resilience and Social-Emotional health, and a lecturer in Psychology at the University of Malta. This study was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Liberato Camilleri, a lecturer in Statistics at the Faculty of Science.
This seminar will also include a presentation by Dr. George Grech, Sedqa Clinical Director, about inhalants and other dangerous drugs bought over the internet.
The seminar will close with feedback and discussion on the Sedqa prevention programmes in Secondary schools, which would be important for the enhancement of the Agency’s services.
