Aim

The work of the Prevention Division aims to avert substance misuse prior to signs or symptoms to problems by working with the educational system, the community and the place of work.

By conducting interventions in these various areas the Division endeavours to reach a wide audience. Education and the provision of information are fundamental in the primary prevention process.
