Secondary Schools programmes serve to strengthen the existing curriculum, provide extra-curricular activities that fit in the scholastic calendar of events, and offer new programmes related to addictions and substance abuse prevention. These programmes are delivered by agency personnel and school teachers. The agency provides age-appropriate sessions and courses, lesson plans for teaching staff, and lesson handouts for students. It also organises periodical training seminars and support activities for the teachers who deliver these programmes. The ultimate goal is to empower the teaching staff to use the material developed by Sedqa and to generate new material related to the addictions field.
